Tips for new arrivals: Take both the short and long Puna tours that Stan & Chris suggest. Stroll Lava Tree Park on short tour - drive past end of road on Hwy 130 - but beware of dogs! on long tour. Make time to watch the turtles in the surf from the back rock wall. Try Kea'au for great take-out choices - and go on Tues-Sat (10:30-5:30) when village market is open. We loved our stay! Mahalo.
